Nice to meet you! I’m Jessica.

I am a Product Designer and Researcher at the University of Michigan, building the bridge between human needs and artificial intelligence. With a background in traditional art and a focus on complex systems, I specialize in untangling messy B2B data to create intuitive, AI-driven workflows. My mission is to demystify emerging technology, ensuring that as our tools get smarter, they remain distinctly human and accessible to everyone.

In my free time, you can catch me...

Tracing my path from easel to interface.

I grew up certain I would be a painter, loving the discipline of composition and the freedom of a blank canvas. But in college, I realized I wanted my work to function, not just exist. I traded my paintbrush for Figma when I discovered UX, realizing it was the perfect medium to combine my visual background with problem-solving logic.

Obsessing over the details of the world.

My curiosity doesn't shut off when I close my laptop. You’ll find me binging BBC Earth documentaries, being a Beli addict who meticulously ranks every restaurant I visit, or volunteering in my local community. I believe that to be a good designer, you have to be an observer of life—whether that’s analyzing a menu hierarchy or understanding the ecosystems of the natural world.
